To get the season underway we had our first game in the snow to be prepaired for any type of conditions! We had 14 lads and 14 women who showed up to face the conditions head on! It can only get easier from now. It was a roaring success and everyone is looking forward to the season ahead!

Time to get the season up and running for 2016 with The first round of the Dave Dunne cup. Jyväskylä Ladies won and the Helsinki Men's won on the day.

The second round of the Dave Dunne cup. Jyväskylä Ladies won comfortably on the day while the Men lost again to a strong Helsinki team. It was our firts game to wear the new club kit!
Round 1 of the 2016 Nordic Championship - Oslo

This was our first time to play a tournament in Norway and our best performace to date in the Nordic Championship. We came 3rd on the day and unlucky not to make the final. It was a draw! :) Ban Murphy got male player of the tournament and Frankie got female player of the tournament. It was a great day for the club!

Round 3 of the 2016 Nordic Championship - Helsinki/Oulu

Round 3 of the Nordic Championship. The men and women won one game on the day. The Men placed 3rd and the Ladies placed 2nd overall in the 2016 Nordic Championship.

Oulu Round - All-Finland Cup

The 3nd round and final round of the All-Finland cup took place in Oulu. This was the last tournament for 2016 but boy was it kind to us! The Men's team brought home their first piece of silverware and the ladies finally got the one trophy that had always slipped away from them. This topped off a great year for Jyväskylä GAA.
